Mallory Bonney

You are special to me,

When we first met my heart silently beats and sings for you, that special feeling
A journey to the past, a place of sweet memories, innocence, impulses and mysteries
A grace to the present, a gift to keep, a treasure that only God unveils

You are special to me
A love worthiest in truth, so pure and true to last, so delicate, sudden storm of passion
Joyous and joyous? A place with no storms, no tears, no pain, no trials as love should?
Patient and strong, passionate and forgiving, generous and thrilling, that still cares, and love be true

You are special to me
Earliest enchanting, more of romantic feelings up in late,
A fear to trust forward to the unseen volatile and distrusting future?
Love be true! Even miles away and afar to last

If only you knew how special you are to me
For my love

The Vision through the tears,

My heavy heart is numb, frozen as an ice lake in the middle of winter, my eyes refuses to see the darkness, the beautiful early sunset and the late sunrise,

Ah the lonely guitar around the corner resting as it will never again feel your beautiful hands strike the chords just you and that guitar never apart as one soul making a melody so full of vibes that emanates in the whole house with your generous presence, hands so perfect as they were made just  to strike the chords of your guitar and the sounds of melodies amplifying the house, it was your happy time I know it misses you like I do,

I see you playing the guitar sitting on couch in the living room, an image for always on my mind reminiscent, I can see the joy and peace in your heart and your face as you played on, either with your band in the basement on Saturday and  Friday nights, oh memories that will never fade away

Ah rough days of melancholy, how I miss your laughter flooding the house with the truest sound, so powerful, honest, and full of joy, and your smile so sweet oh pure light is the angel within your heart that comes out, it seemed just like yesterday wished for days, oh I can still hear the echoing all over the house a pain not to ever listen to again

Hard to imagine a heart so loving and genuine, not being here with us, I feel the emptiness, and sorrow, a sickening loathsome feeling conveying of grief in my body, feelings of desolation not to feel the comfort of your absolute inspiring presence

Thinking of you,
Not a minute passes by without me thinking of you,
thinking of you in my heart, my thoughts a wandering in the deep blue sky charged with drops of love descending from cupids' arrow surround me where I can't escape

thinking of you makes me joyful, and hopeful, like being emotionally taken into a world of rêverie, hypnotize in a m
irage stolen, from reality,

Gracious Lilacs by Mallory Bonney
I wrote gracious lilacs as I was strolling and exploring the upstate New York north-east area this Spring. Every town small, or big and around the Hudson river was thriving with amazing beautiful lilacs trees. Ornamentally aromatic with intense gracious fragrance. These flowers are blooming with soft notes of innocence, frivolity and heavenly aroma with intriguing heart shaped leaves. Being around the pleasant smell and the pure beauty of the flowers and the whole tree from April to early July inspired me to write this poem. I enjoyed picking them if not they will end-up in small pieces on the ground soon enough. Oh they look so gracious in the pottery on my dining room table, and in the mason jar on my kitchen counter as my whole house smells heavenly and sweet.

Picture

Gracious Lilacs,

Most gracious lilacs of tender early spring in folds and clusters of abundant petals,
Captivate my senses in a haunting yet delicate sweetness, oh sweet fervent memorable scent
Inly drawn by the enchanting, charming lilacs, majestically blooming sweeps my spirit and senses
Unlike the beautiful, symbolic, quintessential royal rose, but kindly hold no thorns,
Put-out dense stems, hearty shaped green leaves and  lush of soft gentle flowerettes of small petals at peak of spring

May bears flowers in great wealth of plenty for spring’s sake, alas! Blossom and dwell gracious lilacs,
To glance at the splendid purple, lavender, golden yellow, red, white, blue, and pink lilacs
What a joy of spring gladness, as the morning sun rose, to the quietness of the evening sunset
From the early music of the song birds, to the bright sun shining afternoon, to the night moonlight
Lilacs irresistibly whispering intense delightful scents to the wind in a rich spiced warm breeze

As we near June, May ceased, lilacs languish, and thrive to hold time of life, farewell lilacs!!
July sun rise unfolds to invade these blooms and their sweet fragrant notes
lilacs soon wither to dimly burn as their fragile soft petals succumb to harsh summer sun
Oh! But year to year, we great new spring by mystique of wonderful nature,
See drops of April’s soothing rain conveying nature’s antidote for sleeping plants and trees blooming to life in prosperity
Oh! Healing lift! Joy to my spirit and soul, lilacs will soon return, most gracious lilacs of tender early spring

I’m gonna follow my heart

I’m gonna follow my heart to find peace in my soul, bless this heart and this soul once astray

Let my spirit run freely, unwearied for the stars, forth from shadows of time felt no pride,

Seeking ye not gold, not lust, not diamonds, not money, not fame, not war, not hatred, not envy or greed

My heart does not need a drum, is tool of its own, so big yet so small my raison d'être et joie de vivre

Might instrument, ye gentle, candidly patient, ye filled with amplifying sound strong as galloping wild horses

Not tepid, not cold ye enticing waterfalls shooting trough these veins, and arteries by streams of passions

I’m gonna follow my heart as it leads me fatefully, I walk in faith bit bewildered to my destiny

I dance to the beat of my heart at a pace that leads not in despair, but fulfilling hopes, goals and dreams

Promises, defeats, never ending battles I dwelt in no worries, on my path, I hear resilient beats

I bestow my heart upon God's divine grace, if this heart beat at any sound that I wanted I will give it a crown jeweled with roses

Nestled at angle perfect, deeply rooted feeling as fire and ice, young and old as is life

I’m gonna follow my heart, while I finally find healing, and peace within my soul, I listened

This heart is never tranquil, as it heals, as it survives, as is broken, no forfeit, no sorrow, no grief

O' docile heart in high spirits, kind and forgiving, not deceitful, triumphant, ever will I resign in hope, in faith, in love

On my knees I will praise thee and sought salvation wholeheartedly, I walk at the beat of love, humbleness, and purpose

Ah, rasping pumps weep for peace, weep for love above all, cheer in light, in faith above all, and detest not

At the morning dawn, as the sun rose I heard doves singing lullabies of grace at my window, put my soul at peace, in oasis of serenity

And my devoted heart joyed to the sound of the sun kiss morning melody, I felt bliss bestowed upon my heart

I’m gonna follow my heart a powerful walk, yet intuitive, insightful, not hasty, yet a purposeful journey

Gloried and humbled, in Thy wisdom, I bow to love, and seek forgiveness from Heaven

Listen to the beat, to the pounding sound day and night echoes the heartily singing message of the dove

When love overflows in the limitless sky, and drop as spells to fill the loveless of emptiness

See me, see true colors of my heart, grateful, untroubled, seen sparkles of turbulent storms, ye glad and joyful

Ah tireless is life, all whispers of dreams, will delight and not endure and sought salvation in life's ills

Appease, in wealth of love and passion, my heart gaze at the beacon of light that serenade the angry and dark sea,

the open air, and the shore, lights beaming in defeat of battles, ye the waves fearlessly still, stable and calm

Mallory Bonney  “Detest not but fill your heart with everlasting love”
Struggles in life make us stronger and prepare us to get through the world, so let's not give up, but arise as we fall it helps expand our souls and our spirit ....

My little sister’s  Locks

My little sister’s locks softly climb each strand fast and sublime in a whirl of curls,

smooth as black pearls descending to an endless fall on her shoulders sister mine, sister mine

lovely dear little sister, I sing her soft lullabies cradle pretty babe, O’ golden child

on a delightful Saturday afternoon encore moments tranquil and silent

as drops of cottony and powdery snow on a peaceful wet ground cradle pretty child

My little sister’s locks tenderly flowing, naturally with lovely tress crown with little silky ribbons

like wild roses nestled in long twists of dense curls as the midnight sun unfolding endlessly

to yield on her shoulders sister mine, sister mine, as time passes fast,

the wind of the firmament fulfills merely sweet memories, and bring to mind

the smell of decadent cinnamon bun and bubbly macaroni and cheese

scrumptious steamed Maryland’s blue crabs rushing from ma’s kitchen,

our hungry stomach feverishly growling to savor to the tasteful aroma,

Oh unforgettable early Saturday afternoon serene and noisy as drops of rainfall on a pebble shore

and nature’s gentle breeze incensed the air of petunias and violets blooming from ma’s garden after the rain

My little sister’s locks gracefully velveteen smooth ringlets as black Madagascar sweet vanilla,

slick lace and polished as dark licorice naturally twirled graciously in coil of long soft curls

where shines the sun is her hair, I smooth her locks with Shea pudding  and gently brush it with ma’s golden brush,

I oiled her root and scalp with coconut oil and parted them like sunrise lattice with ma’s golden comb,

Her lips part with heavenly smiles of a sweet beautiful cherub playing harp with kiss full thanks

My little sister’s locks divinely sheer jet ebony mane with spirals of dark curls vibrant as starlight sky,

God’s precious gift bestowal sweet golden child little sister mine, little sitter mine

O’her brave sun kissed adorable cheeks blushed as she laughed to her pearly sparkly little teeth,

Belle fillette sitting on my lap with a smile so sweet as a fiesta of candy rain jubilee

she cries no lament as we gnaw on peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, and dark decadent chocolate brownies

O’ goddess little princess with almond brown eyes that warmly glitters as stars and lights with a loving gaze in enchanting gratitude

Sisterly Love

As spring blooms,

Welcome Spring! Now that winter is gone here you are, I yearn so long, for your gorgeous return!

It matters to me dear spring, as your plethora of greens ribbons softly crown earth and nature’s awake

Gratify my eyes oh spring, burst anew, thaw and awake my heart to the flowers in the Garden of Eden

Your brewing air of flowery rhythm and gentle zephyr exult and sweep my spirit in a romantic and harmonious charm

O' behold, early morning sunrise remains glorious to the depth and height of trees, as a gold jewel in still glow and prosper to the infinite mystic

Oceans, ponds, streams, creeks, lakes, brooks and rivers eagerly and fatefully gleam as gems, as late snow and ice rushing down swells up the tides

It matters to me, oh Spring as fresh tears of dew drop from the sky and kisses flowers and leaves

Walking in the invigorating rain contented to the freshness of raindrops on my skin as sparkling stars

I breathe in the sweet smell of nature’s triumphant foliage, oh goodness in full bloom and delight my eyes

As packs of wild geese embrace the agreeable sky with pierce calling as if to exclaim exuberance

From the meadows to the valleys, divine green grass pushing as to greet you, and satiate earth’s emptiness at even

Notes of daffodils, lilacs, daisies, iris, cherry and apple blossom, hyacinths, mimosas and camellias blooming, flowering, kindle the air

A school of freshwater mallards and cinnamon teals calling bliss in enchantment, and winging playfully in good humor

Oh pure delight, hearing birds cheerily whistling melodious hymn, as to celebrate the end of winter

It matters to me, oh Spring as crowding of trees blossoming with leaves making the lifeless desert realm burgeon lavishly

And the freedom lawn fulfills wild flowers dreams, as dandelions, daffodils and daisies reign and loiter generously beneath my feet

Pink, purple and white lilacs proudly ornate and flourish when rainfalls, as golden bees savored fresh nectar to delight and danced in reward

I enjoy, I love sniffling, and tasting sweet fresh picked plump, juicy sun kissed berries to my delight

Seeing glimpse of butterflies fluttering branch to branch waving freely as to say thank you, oh Spring it matters to me!

Mallory Bonney,
Waiting for Spring.

Little by Little Fall’s fallen (Fall's upon us)

Little by little fall’s fallen

Mother Nature’s fallen into the mystic of the fall,

 Autumn’s fulfilling its seasonal metamorphosis,

the unseen splendor of leaves crimsoning in their oneness green

to gently ripened under the autumn sun

Little by little fall’s fallen on aspens, elms,

poplars, oaks, ash and maple leaves in bursts of colors

 Of scarlet rust, tenderest brown,

vermillion red, flaming and golden yellow, sunset orange,

As the choral green glory thirstily sapped

Flourish in plenty myriad leaves to leaves

Tree canopy alight, animating the skies in hue

of dazzling hardy garlands in a festive display

Little by little fall’s fallen

and nature’s work of art drew me within

the charm and mystery of the Adirondack citadel,

where the blue beautiful mountains and hills;

the valleys and meadows parade in a crowding wealth,

harmony and abundance of fall foliage

Little by little fall's fallen

Oh the Cool airy breeze to delight,

the struck of sun streaming through the bright leaves.

glistening, and dazzling in a late October glow

Oh' autumnal bliss, a fiesta oh’ fiery fall

 I saw Playful squirrels climbing,

creeping fast up and down trees,

cheerful birds feasting well on trees laden with moss,

flies and bugs

Little by little Fall’s fallen

I saw the earliest leaves sway gingerly

in the cool breeze with the richest riots of colors

ascending gracefully in a confetti on the open ground

as in libation poured to the spirit of solemn trees coming to peace,

Comes late fall, leaves reeling branch to branch

falling round me as jewels of rain drops,

 And bestowals-upon everlasting of green,

pine trees triumphantly stood as in reign

of fancy evergreen await winter fast coming.

Little by little falls fallen.

I see shadows of branches dancing

as the wind blew in the radiant sun,

Branches losing their grasps as leaves drift in a hurl,

and carried away in a gust of wind

Leaves falling to a mere trickle from flail branches,

and fragile trees bid their last farewells,

Leaves losing their marvels awe of colors,

coated the open ground in piles of fallen, lifeless wilted decay

Little by little fall's fallen

Trees soon asleep and dormant succumb to winter,

but anew to spring rain.

As I step in a dry tumult bed of leaves,

acorns, pine cones, echoed a shuffle sound

of crisp and crunch piles of leaves laying beneath my feet.

 Little by little fall's fallen

Autumn harvest the sweetest gain of the summer sun,

the bouquet of fall blossoms in pleasant orchards

A taste of sweet crisp golden yellow and red delicious apples,

People picking pumpkins at the pumpkin patch to decorate their porch

Oh' delightful bracing October breeze,

Soothing sips of apple cider, delicious apple cinnamon

muffins, doughnuts, and pumpkin latte, pies, at the Fall fest

Little by little fall’s fallen

 Lively, captivating, enchanting colors

are fading away, with the setting sun,

At dusk, autumn’s cool breeze

calmly flowing and the full moon

glowing in the sky beaming besides clusters of twinkling stars

Little by little fall's fallen

Afar, at the dimming evening twilight,

I see the gray black smoke rising in the sky,

I hear branches, leaves, and twigs

singing in the sparkling flames

as autumn cedes to Winter

Little by little fall’s fallen

Mallory Bonney, Autumn on the lake.

Angel Eyes

May I say, my Angel Eyed with a smile so sweet as sunshine as fun as a fairyland

Angel Eyes as dreamy and beautiful, very intense, yet calm and  rich with  love,

May I say my Angel Eyed with tender loving stare,

yet amusing as the essence and spirit of a child at play

Oh!  May I say my angel eyed  that I see your gaze of  hope to the heavens

where blessings flows as to tell your heart stories in gratitude.

Angel Eyes as bright as the crystal sea, a look where shines the moon, where comes bliss,

where  stars praises the sky of lights and heavenly mercies

May I say I find in your  angel eyes  peaceful doves with sparkling wings

and dazzling snow feathers as they cleave the skies and sang heavenly hymns

And May I say my Angel eyed sweetly, that I love, oh love, your good spirit,

your carefree, playful and sunny nature consoles me, and bring  peace upon  my heart

May I say my angel eyed  that your gaze full of grace and love have enlighten my life,

your stare awakens and  leads, a regard  that I adore as I look into your Angel Eyes

Mallory Bonney,
  Angel of mine
